China's vision of building a community with a shared future for humanity is remarkable: Muhammad Wasim Asim

Muhammad Wasim Asim from Pakistan, a master’s student in Tsinghua University’s School of Vehicle and Mobility, has been in China since 2016.

He describes his past five years as full of new experiences and new opportunities that have enabled him to grow individually and to deepen his understanding of China, Chinese culture and history.

“China’s support for Pakistan’s development had already left a positive impression on me about China. After coming to China, living here and seeing China’s development first-hand, my appreciation for the country and the Chinese people has only grown deeper,” says he, who recently went to Wuhan with a group of Tsinghua students and visited museums there, and interacted with local students from Wuhan University to learn more about the history of the Communist Party of China.

He commends the Communist Party of China (CPC) for China’s growth into becoming the second largest economy in the world. He believes that China’s success in industrialization, infrastructure development and poverty alleviation offers an inspiration to many countries like Pakistan.

He also lauds China’s efforts to advance win-win cooperation among countries under the frame of the Belt and Road Initiative and build a community with a shared future for humanity.

As the CPC celebrates its 100th anniversary, he expresses his confidence that under the leadership of the CPC, China will touch new heights of development in the years to come.
